 Location: District 1 - City Center Address: 132 - 134 Dong Khoi Street, Dist 1, HCMC Price Range: 80-180 USD - 4 Star Hotel Located in the center spot of Saigon, Continental Hotel is one of the few hotels that preserve most of its original architecture from the French Indochina's colonial time. This is a large property with 83 fully-equipped rooms and suites with colonial design. There is a swimming pool in the middle outdoor area. The hotel restaurant gives you the best view to the Lam Son square that the movie The Quiet American was filmed. This hotel was also the place writer Graham Greene stayed and wrote the novel The Quiet American in room 214. Some rooms were a bit old when we arrived about 2 years ago but we heard that they would be renovated soon. However this hotel always satisfies its guests because of the nice staff, cleanliness, and good location.
